Let's Get Today Off with a Great Start! After all, it's December, the grand finale of months in 2021!

I decided to change the pace a little with my new blog. I want to share more of my daily thoughts, hopes & ideas which usually come to me with my morning coffee. I've always loved coffee shops that have those short article booklets available to browse through while having that cup of whatever your choice may be. So rather than following Memory Lane's Pages of My Mind where I blogged more of my childhood memories, I decided to share some of my coffee shop writings as they've happened that may in turn bring a smile or two your way. If you are stuck at home, you will hopefully find something in my shorter writings that will help start your day on a brighter side. One of my secrets for beginning my days that always works in every season is...opening my front door and inhaling some fresh air. It automatically gives me that connected feeling that this is a brand new day & I am a part of it! A gift I've been given and something new is possible. (Nothing fresher right now than December air, right?) Definitely a wake-me-upper. Winter is here to stay for awhile and instead of dwelling on how much I miss my beautiful gardens, I visualize them resting under the blankets of snow. Old sagging fences become attractive, trees glisten with frosting on their branches and everything snow covered looks amazing. The Master Artist has been at work! Today my Dear Reader, when you venture out, I hope you find something beautiful in your surroundings that you absolutely must stop and take a photo of it. It's right there waiting for you to notice...I know these days are tough but finding small joys in the simple things around us along with our loved ones will make the day worth while.
