WHEN COFFEE COMES TO YOU

WOW! That's what I call the start of a great day! I got up really early, hoping to walk the short distance to the lake , grab coffee and watch the sunrise. However, this morning coffee in a gorgeous new thermo cup had been delivered & left where I'd be sure to see it! Well then, just like that I changed my plan and decided to work from home. I certainly have enough to catch up on today. I've been walking and collecting tidbits of stories and messages & now seems like the perfect time to put all the pieces together. I have enough for several pages and right now my table looks like I'm making a patchwork quilt.

Nice to know I'm appreciated by my Roomies for staying home today. The morning is calm and there had been a light summer rain through the night so every breath I take feels like a scent of heaven. As I walked out the door to the deck where my coffee awaited, I mentioned to Snoop that I would be home today...I could almost believe he understood.

Sometimes I really enjoy a simple morning like this one where I can actually stop, smell and even pick some flowers.
